Bodegas Roda is placed beside the Ebro river, in a balcony of the station district of Haro (La Rioja, Spain), on a centenary cellar.

Although the founding of Roda goes back to 1987, the building of the bodega only began in 1991 and was finished in 2001, being completed in three separate phases.

Our main activity is winemaking, we make high quality red wine from DOC La Rioja, and wine selling.

Bodegas Roda SA, within the framework of its business strategy, has been designing since 1998 a policy to support scientific research, development and technological innovation as a way to continuously improve its competitiveness, growth and internationalization.

From a commercial point of view, RODA markets its products in both national and international markets.

Bodegas Roda would act as Demonstrator in the use of solar heat in its industrial processes. There are several points in our process of wine making where high amount of energy is needed, like malolactic fermentation in oak barrels, cleaning and disinfecting tanks pipes, etc.

We would also take care of the visual impact of the solar panels as we receive oeno-tourism in our winery.
