Stakeholders workshop 2020
On the 29th October 2020, SHIP2FAIR and 15 other projects from the renewable heating and cooling (RHC) sector co-organised the workshop ‘RHC Solutions for buildings and industry during Sustainable Places 2020’. The workshop gathered 30 participants representing public administrations, research & industry, who followed the presentations from 16 experts.
The workshop included:
- A keynote speech from the European Commission (Eleftherios Bourdakis, Policy Officer, DG Research & Innovation)
- The presentation of the latest publication of the European Technology Platform on Renewable Heating and Cooling – RHC ETIP, 2050 Vision for 100% renewable heating and cooling in Europe
- A selection of H2020 EU-funded projects involving experts from the biomass, geothermal, solar thermal and heat pump sectors to discuss a common strategy for increasing the use of renewable energy technologies for heating and cooling for buildings and industry.
