SUMMARY:Cheaper than electrification: how solar heat will replace oil and gas in the EU industrial sector
DESCRIPTION:Cheaper than electrification: how solar heat will replace oil and gas in the EU industrial sector is a local event organised by Solar Heat Europe in partnership with the European Commission. SHIP2FAIR’s partner TVP Solar\, represented by Guglielmo Cioni will present the Martini & Rossi case study. \nThe online workshop will address the status of solar heat for industrial process (SHIP) applications in southern Europe. It will present a case study from Greece and discuss new innovative business models (ESCOs). SHIP is already a reality in Central and Northern Europe but is still largely unexplored in Southern member states hence\, the discussion will address some key questions in this context. \nAgenda \n• Bärbel Epp\, Solrico\, Moderator \n• Christoph Brunner\, AEE Intec\, SHIP state of the art/HWG industries vision \n• Caroline Thiaville\, New Heat\, Innovative business models (ESCO and third-party financing) \n• Michael Taylor\, IRENA\, SHIP costs assessment \n• Briss Taipe\, Absolicon\, Case study for SHIP in Greece \n• Guglielmo Cioni\, TVP Solar\, Martini & Rossi case study\, developed under SHIP2FAIR project – Solar Heat for Industrial Process towards Food and Agro Industries commitment in Renewables. \n  \nREGISTER HERE \n  \nMore on the EU Industry Days \nEU Industry Days is Europe’s flagship annual event on industry. It serves as the main platform to discuss industrial challenges and co-develop opportunities and policy responses in an inclusive dialogue with a wide range of partners. It also helps to ensure that our policies at European\, national\, regional and local levels work together to enable European industry to deliver jobs\, growth and innovation in Europe.

SUMMARY:6th International Conference on Contemporary Problems of Thermal Engineering - CPOTE 2020
DESCRIPTION:6th International Conference on\nContemporary Problems of Thermal Engineering – CPOTE 2020\nThe energy system beyond 2020 – challenges and opportunities\nCPOTE is a conference which brings together scientists involved in energy and exergy analysis. The scope of the conference is characterized by tracks divided into several areas of research and methodologies commonly used in research. During paper submission please select area of research and methodology which best match the content of your paper. This will help us to assign proper reviewers and arrange the conference’s sessions. CPOTE aims to cluster similar topics into thematic blocks and identify each conference session with a proper name. SHIP2FAIR will participate and present a topic in which the consortium is currently working. More details coming soon. \nFor further information about the conference registration fee\, please consult the official website.
